Black or white dial? Start with your everyday wardrobe

A simple way to choose a dial colour without getting lost in every possible finish.

Black-dial Rumoe Nobel Royal worn on the wrist

There is no single dial colour that works best for everyone. A useful starting point is the clothing you already reach for during a normal week.

A white dial for a lighter appearance

A white dial gives the watch an open, bright centre. Paired with brown leather and a rose-gold case, it creates a warm combination that can sit comfortably alongside shirts, knitwear and lighter fabrics. Vika is one place to start when exploring that look.

A black dial for a stronger contrast

A black dial puts more emphasis on the hands, hour markers and surrounding case. On a black strap it creates a more uniform appearance; with brown leather or mesh, the change in material becomes more noticeable.

Change one detail at a time

Use the finish thumbnails to compare dials within the same model. First choose the dial, then the case colour. This keeps a simple decision from becoming a comparison of every watch in the collection.

Look at both studio and wrist photographs where available. A close-up explains the details, while a wrist image helps you picture the watch with clothing.
