Mesh or leather? Two ways to wear the Nobel Royal

Compare the texture and appearance of mesh and leather before choosing your everyday watch.

Rumoe Nobel Royal watches with mesh bracelets

Choosing between mesh and leather is as much about the finish of an outfit as the watch itself. Both can look understated, but they bring different textures to the wrist.

Mesh: light-catching texture

The closely woven metal surface catches light across the bracelet. It gives the watch a more continuous metallic appearance, especially when the bracelet and case share the same tone. Boet and Rosenhill are the mesh options in the Nobel Royal collection.

Leather: a softer contrast

A leather strap separates the case from the wrist with a different material and colour. Brown leather can work well with warm, casual clothing; black leather creates a quieter, more uniform look. If you already wear leather shoes or a belt most days, start by comparing the strap with those pieces.

Make the comparison fair

Look at the same dial colour and a similar case finish in each category. Changing the dial, case and strap at once can make it difficult to see which detail you prefer. Then compare the side views and think about how you want the watch to sit with a sleeve.
